Giving an investment fund a pulse, so capital finally looks as alive as the brands it backs.
Project Overview
Rata Kanan Capital is an investment fund founded by technology entrepreneur and TRIV CEO Gabriel Rey, backing companies in health, wellness, and longevity. Its portfolio spans Jungle Padel, Anytime Fitness, TopGolf Jakarta, and Social Padel House by Ismaya, and the fund acts as a bridge between Gabriel’s digital asset ecosystem and the real world business of living well. I designed the identity from the ground up, building a brand that carries the credibility of serious capital while moving with the energy of the brands it backs.
What I delivered:
- Logo design
- Visual identity system
- Brand guideline
- Social media and other marketing materials
Challenge
Most investment funds look the same, all deep navy and abstract geometry, built to signal wealth rather than intent. Rata Kanan Capital needed something different. The fund invests in padel courts, gyms, golf ranges, and recovery lounges, so the brand had to feel active and human while still carrying the credibility of serious capital. It also had to sit comfortably next to a crypto exchange on one side and a fitness floor on the other. The key tensions:
- Credible capital, yet active and human
- Financial credibility, yet lifestyle warmth
- One brand spanning digital finance and physical wellness
Results
The mark is built from two mirrored halves that rotate around a shared center and lock into one continuous form. Read one way it is a loop, the compounding cycle that both capital and health depend on. Read another way, the stepped notch cutting through the middle traces a pulse, an upward beat that gives the whole shape momentum. It is a finance mark with a heartbeat, which is exactly what this fund is.
The palette carries the same double meaning. Palatinate and ultramarine blue hold the credibility any capital brand needs, then lime green and inchworm cut through with the volt energy of a sports floor. Paired with a bold geometric wordmark, the system moves easily from an investor deck to a padel court to a gym wall.
Rounded forms keep it human, and the mark holds its shape all the way down to an app icon. The outcome is an identity that looks like serious money and feels like a body in motion, giving Rata Kanan Capital one brand that connects capital, community, and the long game of living well.
